Expand your network offline • Meet people who'll remember you
LocoBloco matches you with interesting people you'd never meet otherwise, where everyone has something in common — and is going through the same journey.
Meet Interesting People

The problem
LocoBloco identifies and sets up dinners with a group of professionals who share your profession and your interests — so the conversation actually goes somewhere.
No more "So, how are you doing?".
No more "How's the weather?".
No more forgotten LinkedIn requests.

How it works?
Share your profession, your interests, and a bit about what you're into. This is how we build your curated group — so you're seated with people you'll actually click with.
We seat you with a small group of people who share your interests and your profession. No requests, no planning — we sort it all out so you can go home knowing you made a real connection.
Meet your group at a restaurant of choice in the city. We know you're busy, so that's why dinner is a super convenient time. That's why you come for dinner. Have real conversations, no awkward small talk, and broaden your professional network.
After dinner, every group comes together at one block, so you can meet others from the city going through the same experiences.
Why LocoBloco?
Networking doesn't have to feel like work. Here's why dinner with the right people changes everything.

Online chats and connections feel awkward and transactional — and when you actually need them, will they even remember you? What if they judge you? Real relationships come from real conversations, and those happen in person, over a meal, with someone who shares your world.

This isn't a panel or a networking mixer with name tags. It's good food with easy, lively conversation that naturally flows because you have similar interests outside of work. You actually get each other. You come for the connection — you stay for the fun.
It's easy to feel like you're the only one facing what you're facing. You're not. The best part of knowing people in your profession: someone's going through it too. They're solving for or have solved the problem you're stuck on, or they know someone who knows someone who can. Real connections are how you move forward — and they start with a real conversation, not a cold message.
The community
LocoBloco was started because we were tired of networking that felt like a transaction. We wanted a way to meet others in our profession that felt natural — like getting dinner with friends you just hadn't met yet.
Every dinner is curated to ensure you get the most out of the evening. We look at your profession, your interests, and the kind of people you'd actually love to meet up with. Just a table of people who get you outside of work.
FAQ
Everything you need to know before your first dinner.
After signing up, you'll answer a few questions about your profession and what you're into. We use that to match you with 5–6 people in your own profession, then book the restaurant and pick the time. All you do is show up, meet your group, and enjoy the night. You'll pay for your own food and drinks at the venue. Have fun!
Every table in your profession reconvenes at one venue nearby — so you go from a handful of peers to a whole room of people who do what you do. Stay as long as you like. It's the best part of the night.
We match by profession first, then by your interests, so you're seated with people you'll actually click with — not random strangers, and not just anyone who shares your job title. The goal isn't perfect matches, it's interesting ones.
Totally normal — everyone is, and nobody knows anyone at first. That's the whole point. We keep the groups small and the vibe easy, and everyone's there for exactly the same reason. You might just meet some of the most interesting people in your profession.
We ask when you book and do our best to pick a venue that works for you. Have a look at the menu beforehand — if it's not a fit, reach out and we'll sort something out.
Life happens. You can cancel through your account. Just give us as much notice as you can so we can keep the group balanced for everyone else — last-minute cancellations leave an empty seat at a small table, making everyone else’s experience a teeny bit inconvenient.
We're starting in Toronto, on weeknights. Once you're matched, we'll send you the restaurant details ahead of time, along with where everyone's reconvening afterward.
Not in the name-tag, LinkedIn-exchange sense. It's a real dinner with people in your profession — the connection happens naturally because you actually have something to talk about.
